Due to the provincial state of emergency, the Alberta Court of Justice is making a number of schedule changes for the period of May 8-12, 2023.
The Alberta Court of Justice has circuit locations in 72 locations throughout the Province. Many of these locations have been impacted by the provincial state of emergency. We have given consideration to the rescheduling of court matters in all potentially impacted areas.
The chart found at the following link includes all of the potentially impacted locations. Instances where court proceedings have been relocated are highlighted in yellow. Appearances at these new locations can be in person or via Webex.
All trial matters that are moved from their original location will not proceed as scheduled and will be spoken to only at the rescheduled location as noted on the chart.
As the wildfire situation is rapidly developing, counsel and parties are encouraged to continue to monitor the Alberta Court of Justice website for further changes.
