Civil Filing Digital Service  (FDS)
  • The King’s Bench Filing Digital Service empowers Albertans, through their lawyers, to file Civil and Chambers documents, reducing administrative steps, and making processing times more equitable in all King’s Bench centres in Alberta.
Court Orders Digital Service
  • Court Orders Digital Service allows lawyers and legal assistants to create digital orders that can be submitted as part of Civil digital filing requests instead of uploading a document.
Court Case Management Digital Service  (CCM)
  • The Court Case Management Digital Service enables lawyers and legal assistants to digitally book Commercial hearings for both new actions and existing actions, and digitize existing half- day Civil Specials and SafeRoads applications.  Lawyers and their legal assistants can then upload previously filed materials which are digitally provided to the judiciary in preparation for these hearings.
Family and Divorce Filing Digital Service  (Family FDS)
  • KB Family and Divorce Filing Digital Service empowers Albertans, through their lawyers, to file Family and Divorce documents, reducing administrative steps, and making processing times more equitable. Supports the new Family Focused Protocol, triage Family and Divorce Applications to Administrative Screeners and Family Roster Justices, and enable processes to digitally support self-represented litigants, reducing the time it takes families to come to resolution.
Surrogate Digital Service  (SDS)
  • Surrogate Digital Service empowers Albertans to electronically file routine grant applications without visiting a court, reducing administrative steps, and significantly reducing processing times.
Jury Management Digital Service (KBJM)
  • The Jury Management Digital Service allows summoned prospective jurors to respond online to their summons received in the mail by either confirming their attendance or requesting to be excused.
